PWM.G: Dimmer and ON/OFF
Control
This inline circuit dims your LEDs. Tap the
control wires together for the PWM.G to turn power ON or
OFF, or hold together to vary the power pulse width
modulation (PWM) from 20% to 100% and back to dim
the LEDs. Release when the desired level is
reached.
The module handles up to 10-amps of 12-volt DC
and comes with adhesive
backing.
NOTE: this module
interrupts the ground connection in the PWM circuitry. It can
only be used in applications where both the ground and +12v
wiring are directly available.
The PWM.G can be used
for fLEDescents inside a fluorescent fixture that has an
onboard power switch. The power and ground wires are routed
from the house circuits to the fLEDescent panels. The control
wires are routed to the fixture switch.
In this
configuration, toggle the switch ON then OFF to change the
state of the light. Turn the switch ON and the dimming
circuitry becomes active and changes the light level from 100%
to about 20% and then back over about 10 seconds. Turn the
switch OFF when the desired level of lighting is
reached.

VR12-3A Inline Voltage
Regulator: This
in-line 12-volt, 3amp regulator keeps the 12-volt line voltage
to LED appliances in an operating range that will not damage
the LEDs, even while working with resistive and electronic
dimmers. It comes with built-in polarity, thermal, and short
circuit protection. It has double-stick adhesive tape on the
back for mounting on a heat-sink
surface.

Regulated Power:
The PS0-1.2A power supply accessory
provides 1.5 watts of regulated 12-volt power for
LightBlasters' LightStrips and other LED appliances. It
converts 120vac to 12vdc, providing up to 1.2 amps. It plugs
into standard 15-amp AC wall receptacle with a 6 foot
pigtail providing the ground and +12v.
The key issue is
voltage regulation. certain LED devices, like the LightStrips,
can be damaged by the voltage variations found in some RVs.
Using a regulated supply protects them from
damage.
This power supply can also be used in a
residential home to service up to LED clusters up to 15 watts.

PS1, 25W to 150W Power
Supplies: The PS1 series of
industrial regulated 12-volt power supplies are designed to be
connected directly to the 120VAC wiring behind the wall.
Each acts as a power center for a cluster of 12-volt
appliances. They are recommended if you want to install LED
lighting in domestic housing.
The PS1-xx power supplies
are all UL approved.
Care should be taken to install
appropriate 12-volt wiring between the power supply and the
12-volt appliances. Speaker wire is often sufficient, but
watch the AWG gauge of the wire you are using.
The
higher the AWG gauge number of the wire, the smaller it is and
the fewer amps it can carry without overheating. The table
below shows the output of each power supply and the maximum
AWG gauge number wire to use if ALL the current is put through
that wire, and assuming that wire run is less than 10 feet. Go
to a smaller gauge number when in doubt just to be
sure.
The table also shows the physical sizes of
the power supplies.
